Volleyball Season Comes to Close for GHV

CALMAR – On Wednesday, Oct. 22, the Garner-Hayfield-Ventura volleyball team (18-7) played in the Class 2A Region 8 Quarterfinal and were eliminated from postseason play by the South Winneshiek Warriors (21-13), 1-3. 

The Cards claimed the first set by a score of 25-20; then lost the next three sets 19-25, 20- 25, and 15-25.

The upside of not having a single senior on a talented team is that the 2026 GHV volleyball returns the entire team for another season.
