Kay Eginton
Kay Ruth Eginton passed away peacefully on August 25, 2025. A resident of Iowa City since 1952 and a graduate of the University of Iowa, Kay was born in Lake Mills, Iowa, in 1935. Kay's lifelong vocation was writing poetry.
She is preceded in death by her husband, William (Bill) Leonard Eginton.She is survived by her four children, Margaret, Drew, Alison, and Rob, as well as six grandchildren. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Solon Nursing Care Center, the Iowa City Public Library, or CommUnity Crisis Center.
