Larkin, Toppin, Goll win GHV school election

Garner-Hayfield-Ventura School district voters elected 3 to the GHV Board of Education on Nov. 2.
According to the unofficial results, Jay Larkin and Jack Toppin were both reelected. Larkin received 603 votes and Toppin 414 votes.
Dan Goll will be the new member on the GHV school board. A total 558 votes were cast for Goll.
Candidate Scott Gaskill received 376 votes. There were also 3 write-in votes.
West Hancock
The only contested race for the West Hancock School District was for the Director District 3 seat. Jay Burgardt was reelected with 330 votes. Challenger Jennifer Weiland received 210 votes. One write-in vote was cast.
