Matthew R. Senne

BRITT – Matthew R. Senne, 39, of Britt passed away Monday, April 26, 2021 at his home.

A private family funeral service will be held at Cataldo Funeral Home in Britt with Rev. S. Kim Peterson officiating.  Burial will be at Bingham Township Cemetery south of Woden.

There will be no visitation.  Cataldo Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  

Matthew Ryan Senne, the son of Leroy and Donna (Luppen) Senne, was born April 23, 1982 at Britt.   He was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church near Titonka.  Matt graduated from Woden-Crystal Lake-Titonka High School in 2000 and continued his education in computer science at NIACC in Mason City.  He lived in Britt and was employed in the technology department at several businesses in the north Iowa area including, Stellar Industries, IMT, Christensen Family Farms and most recently, Next Generation Technologies in Buffalo Center. He enjoyed tinkering on anything mechanical, restoring old trucks and collecting train sets.  

He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Matt is survived by his parents, Leroy and Donna Senne of Britt; three brothers, Jason Senne (fiancée, Meghan) of Britt, Andrew (Danyelle) Senne of Algona and Adam (Audra) Senne of Woden; many aunts, uncles, cousins and other family; and his cat, Lucky.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Philip and Wilma Luppen; and paternal grandparents, George and Betty Senne.
