Diane M. Netland
Diane Marie Netland passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Dec.14, 2020. She was born on May 5th 1945, in Clarion, Iowa to Lloyd and Shirley Loux. Diane graduated from Garner High School.
On July 20, 1963, she married Willard Netland. They had two daughters, Jodi and Tammy Jo. In 1979, they moved to Payson, AZ where they lived for 11 years. She worked for Payson Public Schools for 10 years in the cafeteria and as a Teacher’s Aide.
In 1990, the family moved to Mesa, AZ where Diane enjoyed spending time with her 3 Grandson’s, Dustin, Tyler, and Kameron. In 2012, Diane and Willard started to summer in their hometown of Klemme, Iowa. She enjoyed visiting with family and old friends there. After Willard passed away in 2017, Diane moved back to AZ to be near her daughters. She enjoyed shopping and going out to dinner with her girls, watching her Grandson’s grow up, reading, and she especially loved watching Hallmark movies.
She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters; Jodi (Ron) Claydon of Mesa, AZ, Tammy Burckhard of Mesa, AZ; three grandsons Dustin (Gabriella) Claydon, Tyler Claydon, and Kameron Burckhard; sister-n-law Virginia “Tootie” Loux of Clear Lake, IA; and several nieces and nephews and close friends. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years, Willard; her parents Lloyd and Shirley (Lindsey) Loux; and brother Dennis Loux.
