Easter Bunny brings cheer to youngsters

The Easter bunny made an appareance on State Street at Garner on Saturday afternoon. The bunny waved to youngsters in cars. The Garner Merchant Association, area businesses, and volunteers gave away about 400 Easter sacks to youngsters as parents drove by Mat's Place. Sacks contained a treat and a toy. At Corwith, the Easter bunny waved to youngsters from across the street on Saturday morningb at the Corwith Community Center. Parents called in advance for an Easter basket for their child. Baskets were "delivered" curbside to a table for pick-up. Rebecca Peter | The Leader
