Lee Allen Johnson

Mr. Lee Allen Johnson, 74, died Monday, Nov. 7, 2022, at Atrium Health in Charlotte, NC.  A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, 2022 at Barron Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Shaffer officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday at Barron Funeral Home 133 Wylie St., Chester, SC.

Mr. Johnson was born August 11, 1948 in Mason City, Iowa and was a son of the late Robert Johnson and Elizabeth Harriman Johnson.  He was a graduate of Britt High School and attended college there in Iowa.  Mr. Johnson was a retired industrial mechanic in the cabinet industry and an accomplished goat farmer.  He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Britt, Iowa.  Lee was a unique man of many accomplishments – too many to list here.  Suffice to say, if you knew Lee, you had no choice but to love him.  Lee was a family man.  He loved his family and also enjoyed fishing with his wife, Chris.

He is survived by his wife of over 38 years, Chris Johnson; two brothers, Scott Johnson (Tammy) and John Johnson (Lynn) both of Britt, Iowa; two nephews, Ryan Johnson (Katie) and their four children of Britt, Iowa and Justin Johnson (Mary) and their two children of Madrid, Iowa; and one niece, Whitney Burke (Aaron) and their son of Denver, Iowa.
