Groundbreaking event for Ballpark

Construction of the new $2.4 million baseball/softball complex at Garner (the future Stellar Industries Athletic Complex) got underway last week with a groundbreaking event. From left: Tyler Mensink of Dean Snyder Construction, council members Don Bell, Marline Lewerke, Glen Juhl and Damon Quandt; Parks & Rec board member Scott Gaskill, Mayor Tim Schmidt, Parks & Rec Director Karla Juneger-Rudisill, City Administrator Jim Collins, Asst. Parks & Rec Director Brett Bulson, Reed Wessman from ATURA Architecture.
