GHV Competes at New Hartford Invitational 

NEW HARTFORD – The GHV boys track team competed at the Wolverine Invitational on Tuesday, April 22nd and finished fifth out of 14 teams. 

Denver took first place at the meet with 152 points, Grundy Center scored 113.5, Dike-New Hartford 85, Jesus 77.5, GHV took fifth with 58 points, Hudson 49, Aplington-Parkersburg scored 44, West Marshall 41, Wapsie Valley 36.5, Janesville came in 10th with 20.5 points, Dunkerton 20, Waterloo Christian 18, Clarksville scored 16 points, and Don Bosco scored 10. 

Kyen Brown came in second place in the 100 meter dash with a time of 11.46.

Brown took third in the open 200 at the 23.24 mark. Karter Datema came in 11th place with a time of 24.30. 

The Cards took 10th in the 4x100 with a time of 47.95. 

Parker Moritz came in 14th place in the 400 meter dash with a time of 59.75. Dennis Beery came in 19th place with a time of 1:04.67. 

The Cards came in 17th place in the 4x200 meter relay with a time of 1:46.15. 

Jonathan Schuknecht took sixth place in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:14.38. 

The Cards placed fifth in the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 3:34.21. 

GHV won the 4x800 with a time of 8:17.02. 

Jonah Pringnitz came in third place in the 1600 meter run with a time of 4:39.73. Caleb Good placed 10th with a time of 5:19.25.

The Cards placed sixth in the 800 medley relay with a time of 1:39.85. 

In the 1600 medley relay, the Cards placed fifth with a time of 3:54.47. 

Luke Lamb placed 11th in the 110 meter hurdles at 19.02. 

Ryan Englin took fifth place in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 59.91. Aydan Ganseveld took 13th place at 1:05.64.

The Cards placed fifth in the 4x110 meter shuttle hurdle relay with a time of 1:09.09. 

Caleb Good finished ninth in the 3200 meter run with a time of 11:26.34. Ty Heller placed 11th at 11:52.68. 

Raider Bell placed 11th in the shot put with a throw of 39-03.00, while Benjamin Fox-Rasmus took 21st with a time of 37-02.50. 

Dominic Holder took 10th place in the discus with a throw of 120-06, while Moritz finished 16th with a throw of 113-07.
