Farmers Trust and Savings Bank has a new Britt location

Farmers Trust and Savings bank has had a building in Britt since 1992, but on June 2, 2025, the bank officially relocated to a new building. The building, which broke ground in the Summer of 2024, featured updated facilities and a new drive-thru ATM.
According to vice president Alicea Porter, the reason for the relocation was due to a lack of space to expand the original building on Main Street. It was decided to construct the new building on Highway 18 in the northeast section of Britt.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place on June 18, followed immediately by an open house. The old bank location is now closed and the ATM there is no longer functioning.
