Community Easter weekend events include the following:

Garner Easter Egg Hunt

The Garner Merchants Association is once again sponsoring an Easter Egg Hunt for kids at Central Park. The event will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 30. There will be four age groups: 2 or younger, 3 and 4-year olds, 5 and 6-year olds, and 7 and 8-year olds.

The Merchant’s Association will be increasing the amount of eggs this year to an astonishing 15,000, so there’s plenty to go around! Eggs will contain toys, quarters, or items to be picked up at different stores in town or “golden eggs” with prizes.

Kanawha

Kanawha will be hosting its annual Easter Egg Hunt at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 30 at the Kanawha Community Nursing Home. The event is a repeat of previous years, with a pancake breakfast following the hunt until noon. The breakfast will be held at Kanawha City Park. In case of inclement weather it will be relocated to the Kanawha Fire Station.

The event is sponsored by the Kanawha Youth Committee and all proceeds go towards their benefit.

Corwith

Corwith will be hosting their Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 30 from 10 a.m. to noon at Corwith City Park. At the same time, an Easter breakfast will be available in the community center, with free will donations benefiting the Corwith Community Club.

Goodell

Goodell will be having their Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 30 at 315 Broadway Street. Registration starts at 10:30 a.m. and the hunt will begin as soon as everyone is registered. A quarter raffle will be held once again for Easter baskets, trikes, bikes, stuffed animals, and sports equipment. There will also be a bake sale, hot dogs, popcorn, cotton candy, and an Easter Bunny photo op.

Britt

On Saturday, March 30, the Britt Chamber of Commerce will host a breakfast, 7-9:30 a.m. at the Municipal Building. The Britt Hobo Day Association Hoagie Pick-up will also be held 8-10 a.m.

The Britt Community Easter Egg Hunt will be held at the Britt Golf Course at 10 a.m.
