County Website redesign approved by Board
Following last week’s discussion on the matter, Chris LaMont, the Hancock county’s IT/GIS director, got approval from a redesign of the county website at the August 5 board of supervisors meeting. The redesign also extends to the county’s election website in anticipation of the 2024 elections. To pay for the redesign, a quote for $22,000 was approved as an upfront payment for the project. The redesign is estimated to be completed around January 2025.
LaMont also requested a quote for the installation of interior cameras for the courthouse. The $18k quote would cover the costs for 13 cameras and the cabling required for them. The quote was approved by the board.
One of two empty seats currently on the Civil Service Commission has been filled in by Kevin Kozisek. The county is still looking for a second individual to fill in the last empty seat.
