Community Easter Egg Hunts and Hops

Community Easter weekend events include the following:

Easter Hop

The Garner Chamber of Commerce is hosting an Easter Hop April 1-10. Stop by participating businesses, pick an egg and see what you win! Participating businesses are: Jasperson Insurance and Real Estate, Clear Lake Bank & Trust, Schnoneman Realtors, PMC Advantage, Garner Public Library, Hall Realty, Ace Hardware, Trendy Pineapple, The Old Creamery, Styles In Motion, Junkin Gal, Java 18, Redemption Tattoo, Third Street Market, American Family Insurance and Salon Embellish.

Free movie will be shown at the Avery Theater on Friday, April 7, 7 p.m. Sponsored by the Garner Chamber of Commerce, Avery Theater, Dandyland Farm, Garner Dental Group, Garner Inn & Suites.

Easter Egg Hunt

The Garner Merchants Association is sponsoring an Easter Egg Hunt for kids at Central Park, 10 a.m., Saturday, April 8. There will be four age groups: 2 years and younger, 3 and 4 year-olds, 5 and 6 year olds, 7and 8 year olds. The Merchants Association plans to hide 5,000 eggs so there will be plenty for everybody! Eggs will contain little trinkets, quarters, or items to be picked up at different stores in town or “golden eggs” with prizes.

Kanawha

The annual Kanawha Community Easter Egg hunt will be Saturday, April 8, 10 a.m. at the Kanawha Nursing Home. The Easter egg hunt is sponsored by the Kanawha Youth Committee. A pancake breakfast will be served following the hunt until 1 p.m. at the fire station. Proceeds from the pancake breakfast will benefit the Kanawha Youth Committee

Corwith

Corwith Easter Egg Hunt will take place 10:30 a.m., Saturday, April 8 at Corwith City Park. Breakfast will be served from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at the Corwith Community Center. Free will donation will benefit the Corwith Community Club.

Goodell

Goodell’s annual Easter egg hunt will be held Saturday, April 8, at the Goodell Community Center. Registration is at 10:30 a.m. Bring your basket! The Easter bunny will be there for pictures with the kids. Hot dogs and chips will be served (free will donation). There will be a raffle for Easter baskets and bicycles (must be present to win). A bake sale will be held through out the day. Come join fun!
