Ag Day is Saturday at Klemme

KLEMME – A BBQ cook-off, car show, games, parade and fireworks! Klemme’s salute to rural Iowa is Saturday, June 15. Activities will take place at Klemme City Park unless otherwise indicated.
Fire up your grill! A barbecue cook-off will take place at the west side of the park (by the Methodist Church) from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Judging for the cook-off will be at 12 noon.
A vendor fair will be located at the east side of the park from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
A car/truck/motorcycle/tractor show from 12-3 p.m. Judging and awards will take place from 2-3 p.m.
Kids games will take place will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Bingo will take place at the shelter house and train rides around the park will begin at noon. 
At 2 p.m. a kid’s pedal pull competition will begin. Free watermelon will be served.
The Ag Day Parade is at 5 p.m. Line-up is 4-5 p.m. at the New Cooperative parking lot.
Afterwards, supper will be served at the fire station. Proceeds will benefit the Klemme Fire Department.
The evening entertainment includes a street dance, beer garden with music by the Cody Hicks Band from 8 p.m. to 12 midnight.
