Mathew Francis competes in 4x110 hurdles on April 5 at the Bob Sanger Relays

The West Hancock boys track and field team proceeded with a busy start to the season.

The Eagles competed at home on April 5 for the Bob Sanger Relays, finishing second place.

West Hancock then traveled to Eagle Grove on April 6 and finished in sixth place.

On Friday, the Eagles traveled to Clarion-Goldfield-Dows and finished third.

At home, West Hancock had nine events that placed in first or second.
