Gomez and Madson crowned Homecoming royalty at West Hancock

BRITT - West Hancock community school gathered Thursday evening, October 9, for the homecoming parade and coronation of the homecoming king and queen. A short parade started on Main Street to kick off the festivities. The parade featured the sports teams for middle school and high school football and volleyball as well as the high school marching band and the Britt fire department. The parade made its way to the high school, where the coronation would be held at the high school gymnasium.
At the coronation, the elementary school homecoming prince and princess were declared to be Prince Federico Ibarra and Princess Emma Trebil. Federico is the son of Gerardo and Elizabeth Ibarra and Emma is the daughter of Kayla Jones and Mathew Trebil.
After the homecoming court was presented to the public, 2024 Homecoming King Brady Bixel and Queen Clair Johnson crowned the new king and queen. The 2025 king and queen are King Gustavo Gomez and Queen Aubrey Madson. Gustavo is the son of Gustavo Sr. and Victoria Gomez and Aubrey is the daughter of John and Amy Madson.
