Terry Lynn Hecker

Terry Lynn (Wright) Hecker, age 76, of Norristown, Pa., died at her home Wednesday,

Aug. 14, 2024.  A Celebration of Life gathering will be held in Alden, Minn. on

Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2024 (additional details to follow).

Terry was the eldest of two children born to the late Wayne and Shirley Wright of Alden,

Minn. on October 29, 1947.  She was a graduate of Alden-Conger High School in 1965.

Terry raised her four children in Garner, Iowa, working a variety of jobs, but was most

rewarded by contributing to her community as a police dispatcher and home health care

aide.  Terry always enjoyed spending time with close friends and family, loved all

animals and a good book. She had an insatiable appetite for thrift stores, collecting

antiques and a wide variety of items and loved trying her luck at nearby casinos. Terry’s

greatest joy in life was being “Mimi” to her six grandchildren, many of whom she helped

care for from infancy into elementary school.  She will be dearly missed by her family.

Terry is survived by her children: Timothy (Cindy) Quinn, Deirdre (Patrick) Lindsay, Erin

Alexander-Quinn, Melanie (Anthony) Propst; Six grandchildren: Tucker (Carrie) Quinn,

Abigail Quinn, Alexia Lindsay, Sienna Lindsay, Declyn Alexander-Quinn, Ariyah Propst;

Brother: Robert Wright. She is preceded in death by niece, Sally Wright, and her parents, Shirley and Wayne Wright.
