Single vehicle accident claims life of Garner man

A single vehicle accident claimed the life of a Garner young man on Friday, October 1, 2021. The accident occurred about 5:15 a.m. at Rake Ave. and Hwy. 18.

According to the Iowa State Patrol report, the driver of the vehicle Noah M. Clites, 25, of Garner, was traveling south on Rake Ave. Clites lost control of his Ford F50 truck. The truck entered into the ditch and rolled. Clites was partially ejected and died as a result of the crash.

The Iowa State Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office and the Garner Police Department.
