Covid-19 Vaccine Update

Hancock County Community Health services issued this update concerning the Covid-19 vaccination process in Hancock County:

Hancock County is preparing to begin Phase 1B in February by taking names of those who are 65+ and would like to be placed on a waiting list for an appointment.

To be placed the waiting list people need to fit the following criteria:

• Be 65 years of age or older;

• Be a resident of Hancock County or a patient of a Hancock County Medical Clinic

People can get on the wait list by either:

• Filling out the form found at this link: https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=GeaRDSxKgEy5WY_fUY5S...

or

• Calling HCHS Community Health Hotline at: 641-843-5095

Those who called earlier to have their name on the waiting list, remain on the wait list, there is no need to call back.

If eligible to receive the vaccine, you will be notified of when your appointment is scheduled. The demand for the vaccine in the state of Iowa is much higher than the supply so it may take several weeks.

If you do not respond when Community health tries to reach you, the appointment time will be given to someone else and you will need to call the number left on your answering service to get an appointment.
