EDEN PRAIRIE, MN – Betty (Schoneman) Brugman, 93, of Eden Prairie, MN, formerly of Pipestone, MN died Friday, October 29, 2021 a Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina, MN.
 
A graveside service will be held 11 a.m., Friday, November 5, 2021 at St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery in Garner with Rev. Joseph Sevcik officiating.  There will be no visitation.  
 
Marvel Betty Brugman, the daughter of Bert and Johannah (Heimendinger) Schoneman, was born March 26, 1928 in Britt.  She graduated from Garner High School in 1946.  On September 5, 1949 she was married to Larry Brugman at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Garner.  They made their home in Brookings, SD before moving to Pipestone, MN where they raised their family.  Marvel worked at A and S Drug in Pipestone for many years. She enjoyed baking, cooking, attending Garner Duesey Days in the summer and was an avid Minnesota Twins fan.  Betty was proud to be a founding member of the Hiawatha Club in Pipestone.
 
Betty is survived by her four children, Mark (Peggy) Brugman of Chaska, MN, JoEllen Brugman (Kerry Moeller) of Chaska, MN, Jon Brugman (Judy Palmer) of Naples, FL and Mike (Jeannine) Brugman of Woodbury, MN; two grandchildren, Hannah and Chad Brugman; a brother, Marvin Schoneman of Garner; many nieces, nephews; and friends in Pipestone, MN.
 
She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry; brothers and sisters-in-law, Micky (June) Schoneman, Bill (Irene) Schoneman, Maynard (Lora Mae) Schoneman and Marion (Polly) Schoneman; and a sister-in-law, Kay Schoneman.  Cataldo Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  CATALDO FUNERAL HOME  641-923-2841   www.cataldofuneralhome.com
